it's been a while

I haven't been very good at this blogging thing. I think you have to blog to call it a blog. O well..I'm busy. Not really but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Not much going on right now, just planning a 2nd birthday party for Ethan. i cant believe its already that time again. 2 years old now. doesn't seem right.

A Few Of My Favorite Things

I could write about a few of MY favorite things but I know that they would all involve Ethan anyway so why not skip that boring post and just put a few of Ethan's favorite things. Why? Because.

Our first favorite thing is being NAKED. Who doesn't? And since its been so stinkin' hot these last few days I'm proud to say that Ethan has only gotten dressed once to go to Homeland with me. He is so free!

Next on the list is Blues Clues and Shawn the Sheep. Now I know everyone has seen Blues Clues but if you haven't watched Shawn the Sheep your totally missing out! Its hilarious and Ethan could watch it all day every day. Of course I don't let him, well maybe on the days I need to get something done.. j/k. or am I?

And last but not least Huggie Bear. We don't know what we would do with out Huggie Bear. He is our comfort in the middle of the night, he calms us down when we are having an all out fit and he just fits so nicely in our hand while we suck our thumb (the thumb is probably on this fav list but it just goes with out saying). good ole Huggie Bear, he needs a bath right now, but done judge if he doesn't get one. It's hard to make him disappear long enough for a trip through the wash and then dry time.

2 Year Molars

Well Ethan is cutting his 2 Year molars already. Why do they name them 2 year molars if they always come in before that 2 year mark. So not fair. He started to scream last night around 5:15 and didn't stop until he passed out at 6 pm. That is 45 min ppl. And I didn't even realize what the problem was until around 25 min of screaming. It's just terrible to mommy and daddy when they know something is wrong but can't really do anything about it.

I'm also going to post some random pics of Ethan just so there is some. Boring post I know. I'll come back soon and post about the beercan chicken and smoked brisket that I made for Father's Day. It was afreakinmazing!

The First of Many

I've been told that I needed to try this blogging thing so I decided to give it a whirl. Who knows maybe I'll be the next Pioneer Woman.. ha! I wish. There will be a lot of recipes and cooking disasters, and probably some parenting adventures too. Read along! Maybe we will learn something!
